Meet the Goode Team

Juail Goode, Ed.D., CEO

Jan1121_JG_004.JPG

Dr. Juail Goode began her career in education as a teacher with Newark Public Schools (NPS), motivated by a desire to serve within the community where she was born and raised. During her tenure with NPS, she provided instruction as an elementary and middle school teacher and collaborated with administrators as an instructional coach. Dr. Goode regularly sought opportunities to connect her passion for advancing equity in education with coaching leaders. Her career has been shaped by her heart for serving historically underrepresented groups.

In 2015, she established Goode Education Group, LLC (GEG) to serve as a resource to school districts in the areas of compliance monitoring and professional development of teachers. That scope soon expanded massively. In addition to supporting schools, GEG now adds value to local and federal government agencies, as well as private and non-profit sectors, in the areas of recruitment and workforce development.

In an effort to remain grounded to her roots as both a scholar and practitioner, Dr. Goode delights in serving as a part-time lecturer for Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Education. She also founded the Goode Education Foundation, a non-profit committed to providing education, job training, personal development and mentoring opportunities to underserved populations.

Dr. Goode holds a Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She earned a Masters in Educational Administration and Supervision from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, and a Masters in Public Administration from Rutgers University-Newark, following her Bachelor of Psychology degree from Virginia Union University. As a result of her personal and professional experiences, Dr. Goode is a firm believer that education saves lives.
